Is there is anything else that needs to be said? Truly?
At what point in an artists career does one shift focus and attention to helping others in need; to make the world a better place for all of humanity? Madonna in a truly heartfelt manner has given back to others who are in desperate need. The Material Girl put on a show the touched the hearts and wallets of many. 7.5 M to be exact is definitely going to help a lot of people who are in need. Everything, even a chair that she danced on was auctioned off at the event. Money, Money, Money and this time not for oneself but for others was the name of the game.
For those of us that don’t know, fifty percent of the population of Malawi is under the age of 15. That is incredible when you think it. Madonna showed videos of Malawi and asked everyone in attendance to help, to make a difference by helping build a pediatric surgery and intensive care unit at a hospital that is in desperate need. She is quoted by saying “It just really makes me feel ashamed,” she said, “ashamed to be an American, ashamed to be a human being really.”
In a somewhat to the point indirect manner she performed a very popular Britney Spears song “Toxic,” with who else but images of President Trump projecting behind her.
Money does make a difference if used in the right way, in the right fashion. All of us can do more, why all the hype and show and dazzle is over, the real cause and the reality of the true need comes about. We tip our hat off to her. Please donate because together, all of us can make a difference!
