Bonnaroo 2017 Lineup Announcement Over the years, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has become one of the go to festivals to hit in the United States. People come from all of the country, all over the world and converge on Manchester, Tennessee to experience one of the biggest festivals in the world. [caption id="attachment_4209" align="aligncenter" width="768"] © Raver Magazine 2016[/caption] One of the majors draws for Bonnaroo is the quality and diversity of its lineup which seems to get better and better with each year. Despite the insane list of artists Bonnaroo has boasted in the past, 2017 is looking to be one of, if not the best lineup they have ever dropped. Pulling from the EDM scene alone, huge names like Marshmello, Big Gigantic, Flume and Yellow Claw are only a few of the bigger names on the list. Going more towards the rock and alternative side of the scene we have Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Front Bottoms stand out. That isn’t even mentioning the fact that freaking U2 will be making an appearance, something I am personally blown away by.   Other artists like Ookay, Louis the Child, Glass Animals, Lorde, Illenium, Claude Vonstroke and Unlike Pluto round out the list to ensure high quality music in every genre. That all being said, a criticsim, if you could CALL it that, of Bonnaroo has been the fact that the heavier side of EDM has not always been represented very well. Dubstep fans and headbangers alike have never found too much to interest them in the past, but this year Bonnaroo has changed that. Borgore, Snails, Herobust, Ganja White Night, Nghtmre, Getter; all these huge bass artists are going to throw down at Bonnaroo in 2017. All things considered, bass music is probably represented the best out of all genres this year. If you have never been to Bonnaroo before, or were on the fence about returning, do yourself a favor and buy your ticket. This is one year you do NOT want to miss. Hope to see you there!
