COSMIC GATE – ANALOG FEEL(GREENHAVEN DJS REMIX)

Following the release of the Diana Miro-sung ‘Hear Me Out’ earlier in the month, Cosmic Gate put the ‘MOSAIIK’ cause momentarily on pause, in order to supply some new Wake Your Mind Records material.

Greenhaven DJs are of course no strangers to the Cosmic Gate cosmos, or WYM Recs for that matter. Alongside several standalone releases, at the frontend of the year, Nicolas Mendoza-Conner and Trevor Haimes collaborated with CG on the club-thumping ‘Retrospection’. More retrospection is indeed at hand here, as the New York-based outfit give the classic ‘Analog Feel’ a floor-fuelling 2022 rework.

Originally found on Nic & Bossi’s 2006 ‘Earth Mover’ album, ‘Analog Feel’s deal is perfectly summed by its title.
Essentially a three-act remix, the Greenhavens’ open with stormy drum-drama, percussive crunch and doomy, thundery bass resonance. From there, techily warping synths, surging riffs and darkly artful FX seize the mix’s stage. As it clears the build though, they pull off an exceptional sleight of hand. With a pair of contrasting melodic & harmonic riffs, they play beauty off against beast and brilliantly flip the switch on ‘Analog’s subterranean feel.

Greenhaven DJs killer remix of Cosmic Gate’ ‘Analog Feel’ is out today and available through all good sales and streaming platforms here, now.

    Tracklist:

    01. Cosmic Gate – Analog Feel (Greenhaven DJs Remix)
    02. Cosmic Gate – Analog Feel (Greenhaven DJs Extended Remix)
