EMURSE DELIVERS BIG BASS BEAUTY ‘ROOTKIT’

Swinging in with heavy industrial and metal-inspired bass rhythms comes Emurse with new single ‘Rootkit’. Deceptively simple, ‘Rootkit’ is a perfect example of how not throwing the kitchen sink at a production can allow a piece of music room to breathe and naturally expand. Steadily building in energy and impact, ‘Rootkit’ combines subtle elements of breaks to underpin the composition, taking the sound design deftly into more electronic territory.

Hailing from Chicago, and trained in bass, percussion, piano and guitar, the brains behind the Emurse project is multi-faceted musician Scott Kehres. Boasting an impressive resume that has already seen him work with the likes of Electric Hawk, Trap City, Andrew Huang, Tommee Profitt, Dektora, The Wave Stage, Vibe.Digital, Liquid Ritual, Delphic Syndicate and more, he has also scored films including Orange Curtain and Living Room, and been commissioned by BMW, RISK, and Indian Motorcycle to produce music for their high-end ad campaign.

Bringing all this ridiculous expertise to the fore for Emurse, Kehres looks set to bless his growing fanbase with more music over the coming months. To keep an eye on forthcoming releases and to find out more info, hit the socials below!
