The long anticipated HARBER release is finally here party people!
The single is the follow-up to HARBER x Lexy Panterra’s “More Than You” which has been on the Billboard chart for 9 consecutive weeks (No. 21) and on 35+ top 40/mix show/dance radio stations (4 were top 10, 17 were top 50 iHeart/Cumulus FM stations within the country). “Savior” feat. Axel is co-written with Axel Enhström (Lost Frequencies “All Or Nothing”, Alle Farben “Bad Ideas”) and Nisha (ILLENIUM & Gryffin ft. Daya “Feel Good”).

Raver Mag. had a chance to catch up with HARBER this past week and this is what he shared up with us.

How long have you been working in music? What can you tell us about your stage name, HARBER?

I have been working on music since I was about 18, but have always loved listening to music as an escape. My stage name is a combination of my first and last name Harry Berman = HARBER.

You’ve just released your new single “Savior” feat. Axel through 450 Music on July 19. How did this song come together?

I got sent the amazing topline from Axel who wrote it with one of my favorite collaborators Nisha Asnani, I loved the song so much, it was this incredible piano ballad with so much emotion, that I wanted to keep while also bringing some happiness to the production.

How does “Savior” differ from your last release “More Than You”?

Savior is a faster song, and has a bit more of a housey feel to it than More Than You, but I try to keep a tropical summery theme throughout all my music.

“Savior” was announced by Us Weekly and will premiere exclusively with Forbes. You’re certainly on the right track and are visibly making your dreams come true. What’s some advice you can offer to those just starting out to achieve such success from early on?

The best advice I can give is to honestly just make music as much as you can, you’ll see progress every day.

Your last single “More Than You” with Lexy Panterra was on the Billboard dance chart for 9 weeks (No. 21 peak) and received tons of great reviews, feedback and press. Did you expect the single to do as well as it did and why?

I certainly hoped so 😉

What has 2019 been like for you so far? Looking back at your laundry list of milestones so far, what are some of your biggest accomplishments and most cherished memories?

2019 has been so much fun so far. Having a song on Billboard was an amazing feeling and such an honor, and having the press I’ve had with the last two releases is a huge honor as well. I’ve also had so much fun playing shows along great artists such as Moksi, Curbi, The Him, and DNMO! Can’t wait to see what the rest of 2019 brings.
