The yearly Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is over and once again it was definitely one of the best events for electronic music lovers. This year a record 400,000 visitors attended the week-long event. ADE gathered both top and aspiring DJs all over the world and connected people from various electronic music related industries. For five full days and nights, the city was full of music and opportunities for all. It’s not only a marathon of great parties but also an inspiring experience!

One of the highlights of this year was Hardwell’s last show – Symphony – The Global Revolution of Dance. Hardwell, together with the Metropole Orchestra presented the most iconic songs of the last 30 years of dance music to audience all around the world. People of all ages, even gray-headed couples and small children were seen enjoying the melodies of electronic music from different eras. It was a beautiful and epic journey with the musicians!

Another main event for electronic music lovers was Amsterdam Music Festival. The Top 100 DJs voted by fans were announced there and this year the honor again went to Martin Garrix! As a tradition of the event, the Number One DJ of the year performed a set and since last year, a new feature was started where two DJs play back-to-back with each other and create an unique music experience. This year we had David Guetta and Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike who together gave a powerful and fun performance!

Apart from the more mainstream events, ADE also offered a lot of shows of different subtypes of electronic music. You could find shows in almost 200 venues all over the city round the clock. People from more than 100 countries mingled and connected in various events and discovered new music together.

As the 23rd edition of ADE, the event is improving every year with better organization, safety and transportation. Despite the extremely large number of visitors, all the events were conducted smoothly and safely. It’s no wonder every visitor wants to come back and more and more people want to participate in this global platform of electronic music. You should definitely put this into your calendar next year!
