LOS ANGELES, CA – Today, the growing Insomniac Records imprint, IN / ROTATION, has added another impressive release to its collection of up and coming artist projects, bringing fans a certified party starter from Wongo, titled, ‘Crunch.’ Hailing from Australia, Wongo may be new to the Insomniac roster but he’s well on his way to establishing himself as the go-to producer for unprecedented house and techno remixes. Wongo originally infiltrated the scene as a break-dancer before teaching himself how to produce dance music. He has since built a reputation that precedes him, collaborating with heavyweights like What So Not, Herve, and Yolanda Be Cool. Wongo’s innovative sound is not constrained by any particular genre, with previous releases signed to a diverse selection of labels like Main Course, Sweat It Out, Dim Mak, and Etcetc. ‘Crunch’ displays Wongo’s boundless skill set in creating a track that joins thumping bass, bouncy house, and layers of technical effects, appealing to a wide range of audiences.
