Rapture Electronic Music Festival in Miami Announces Lineup with Luciano, Guy Gerber, Chris Liebing, Art Department, ZIP and More!
by Amber Lynn
Join us in Miami for Miami Music Week Rapture Festival, second edition and is held at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. It’s a one day underground event and will provide damn good music, tons of activities, art installations, stage themes and set designs and so much more on a beachfront setting and a protected environmental oasis. There’s tons to do at this fest such as Thai massages, yoga, face painting, and a giant geometric fire dome called Incendia, which I actually had the pleasure of experiencing at Nightmare Festival.Rapture has a goal and a purpose, set aside from the music itself, their focus is on an alternative experience in an alternative setting with full beach access in a protected environment. They want you to join their journey into the “astral and metaphysical” while you make the decision to either soak up the sun, or dance away on 4 separate stages that are powered by L-Acoustic systems. Rapture only asks you to come with an open heart, mind, and soul.
The lineup for this is a pretty big deal as well, artists such as Luciano and Guy Gerber are to headline the beach fest. Stages such as the Terra Stage will also host Chris Liebing and Art Department as the Un_Mute Stage will have DJ’s such as Zip and RPR Soundsystem, Ion Ludwig, Sammy Dee and DeWalta. The third stage, Soundgarden, will be home to Guy Mantzur and his exclusive set, Hernan Cattaneo, Yotto, and many others on the lineup too! This lineup has some of the top names in underground electronic music and is the perfect alternative to the typical boring pool party scene.
Along with an amazing lineup, a partnership with ocean conservation non-profits The Big Blue and You, Ocean Generation, as an official partner and wealth of wellness activations promises to connect techno and house fans through nature and music. The volunteer and youth-led organization aims to inspire people to live an ocean loving lifestyle by educating others about ocean conservation through art and media; festival goers are given an opportunity to make a change for the oceans and environment while enjoying interactions with the Mocha Mermaids or by taking a second to visit the information booth. Rapture will also be partnering with Ocean Generation on #thelaststraw campaign by going ‘straw free’ and all food and beverage containers will be made from 100% recyclable materials. Whoever wants to volunteer their time to a great cause in their beach clean up crew in exchange for a free ticket may email [email protected]. Hope to see everyone there!
