RICH FURNESS HOUSE GROOVER ‘SUDDENLY’ OUT NOW ON QUINCY BOY RECORDS

New York based producer, Rich Furniss, kicks off 2022 with a soulful house single released under Quincy Boy Records. ‘Suddenly’ is a groovy track engrossed in Afro-Beat instruments and old school influence, continuing an impressive introduction to a new alias launched in late 2021.

The track begins with high-pitched percussion, half-beat hi-hats and contagious congos which immediately immeseres the listener in a tropical sounding groove. Instruments used by Furniss are generally left fairly raw, creating the impression of natural live music, apart from the delicately distorted 808s which impose a bouncy modern touch. Raspy and evocative female vocals full of a unique tone provide the track with an infectious catchiness that’ll have listeners returning continuously.

Having played and worked with the likes of Diplo, Rick Ross and Chomeo, the prolific producer and DJ is no stranger to milestones. Despite this, he explains that getting a single signed to Quincy Boys Records was special to him, “I’ve always been a big fan of all the music Lefti has made, over the last few years we have become great friends and do frequent B2B sets. I’m honoured to be on his label Quincy Boys first Compilation.

If ‘Suddenly’ is anything to go by, these accomplishments will continue to come the way of Furniss and his career can only go from strength to strength.
