Coming off hot from his singles “I’ll Be There,” and “Let Me Work,” Rich Furniss is fired up with his fresh direction on house music. His latest addition to the fast-paced release schedule is his edit of Kanye West’s “Jail,” which is off his 2021 album. The single unedited carries a soulful and lighthearted feeling to it. Furniess took this mood and inflated it to a greater degree, juicing up the flow and throwing in some house drum work to help it fit within electronic culture and give legs for easy play out. Groovy, positive, and fitting into the realm of what we’ve seen from this artist thus far, Rich Furniss is doing it right with this flip.
Rich Furniss is set to play Chicago’s Electric Hotel on December 10th. If there’s one song you can expect to make its way into his set, it’s “Jail (Rich Furniss Edit).”
He went by MopTop, but now is going all in on this new alias. He’s previously performed at SXSW, Governors Ball, & Odd Ball and other well known events. As MopTop, he performed alongside Korn, Slayer, Body Count, and was booked at the hard-rock event Mayhem Fest.

As Rich Furniss, his stream count is rising fast paired with his general notoriety on the incline. “Jail (Rich Furniss Edit),” is the next addition of what will be a momentous journey.
