On May 17th Insomniac Productions lead by CEO Pasquale Rotella will once again blow minds when the gates open at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, home to Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC). It’s official that this is the biggest Insomniac event EVER. General Admission has sold out and over 450,000 Headliners will hit the pavement during this 3-day event that runs from dusk till dawn.
Working off the momentum from last year, there are new stage designs, a revamped festival layout and a brand-new Camp EDC experience. As if it were even possible the stages are bigger, more complex and the “wow” factor is alive and well. There’s also new art-cars and added stages to enjoy your favorite artists at.
Speaking of artists, over 250 of the worlds best will be performing at the biggest festival on Earth. Between the events held during EDC Week, Camp EDC, and of course within the confines of the raceway, there will be no shortage of options to choose from. The hardest part is going to be which artist to see when set times are butting head with each other; Decision decisions….
For the second year the festival is being held in Mid-May as opposed to June in prior years. The temperatures looking to be the epitome of perfect with high’s the upper 80’s and low’s in the lower 60’s. Comfortable is not even the word. Coming from personal experience raving in 110 degrees at night with radiant heat emanating from the tarmac is not fun. As always, DON’T FORGET TO HYDRATE!
One of the special things Pasquale offers is the EDC Wedding which takes place at one of 2 chapels inside the festival. Myself and my soon bride to be Shayna Rotatori will be reciting our vows under the electric sky. We met almost 4 years ago at a music festival and could not think of better way to tie the knot than at this amazing creation that Paquale and his team have given birth to. We’re excited to provide coverage on the EDC Wedding experience!
