WRITTEN BY STEPHANIE PIEDRAHITA
Art Basel is a yearly cultural and artistic gathering that brings art and music lovers to warmer temperatures in Miami, FL during the first week of December. With a multitude of galleries and pop up shows being announced left and right, we’ve outlined which parties ones you should be at after you’ve done your rounds of appreciating the art.
Björk @ Mana Wynwood (December 5th)
On the heels of a massively successful fifth installment of III Points Music, Art & Technology Festival, Miami cultural powerhouse III Points will bring Björk to Mana Wynwood for a special musical engagement—and her first ever appearance in Florida—December 5 as part of their fifth annual Art Basel Concert Series. The Icelandic artist is sure to play new music from her ninth – yes ninth- studio album during this performance which would be accompanied by beautiful production and lighting fixtures no doubt.
Tickets are available here.
III Points will also be bringing the legendary Wu-Tang Clan to Miami’s Mana Wynwood December 9. Originally slated to play the Off Weekend Festival in Virginia Key—unfortunately cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances—the group will now join III Points’ Art Basel Concert Series. So, we know it’s not dance music…but it’s Wu-Tang. It’s probably one of, if not the most talked about event this year and it’s not often that such a prolific group gets to perform inside the massive Mana warehouse. Dolla dolla bill ya’ll.

Club Space’s All Access Basel Pass
The people of Club Space like to spoil the people of Miami, especially during Art Basel week. They’ve created the All Access Basel Pass which is one ticket for seven shows, saving money and time better spent on the dancefloor. If you choose to opt out then we suggest going to Get Real, Claude von Stroke and Green Velvet, who will start off strong on Thursday, December 7th and Solomun +1 on Saturday December 9th are the two events to be at.
