It is almost time to set our New Year’s Resolutions, but first we get to enjoy a weekend of dancing and loving at the festival in the heart of Dallas, TX, Lights All Night. This festival has been one of my favorites throughout my years of attending shows. Why? It feels like home; small enough to get around, but big enough to get lost in the lights and music. Join us December 28th and 29th to experience this with us.
Enjoy your moments with your friends at the hotel before the show. Dress as wild and as cute and you want. That’s the cool thing about electronic shows, no one is there to judge you. Express yourself in ways that you do not at home. Be as bright and as colorful as you feel. Also, make sure you call a safe ride to and from the fest, using Lyft, a comfortable ridesharing company. All you have to do is download the app.
First of the weekend, we get to enjoy Kaskade’s pre-party Redux set. If you haven’t gotten to check one of these sets yet, don’t miss it. He is mostly what I am ecstatic about. Kaskade’s music has been there for me since the beginning. Through the tough times, the breakups, and the happiest of times, he was there sharing the moments with me. Kaskade has been true to himself and his music since he first started playing shows. I think that’s why I love him so much. Lights All Night always brings a few really good artists. They know how to take care of their festival fans.
Rezz is another one you should be super pumped for. Her music style is way different than Kaskade, but it is a good way to get the full feel of the different genres of electronic music. Her trippy style is so breathtaking. This is a diverse festival and I cannot wait. We get to experience house with Kaskade, techno with Rezz, then you also get to headbang to Excision, and just dance with Tiesto, and these are just the headliners. I will be catching What So Not, Eprom, and also Jai Wolf.
If you can’t tell, I am beyond ready to surrender myself to the vibes of the dance festival. Take a moment while you’re there to just look around and experience the love that is around the room. Notice the colors flashing by and the art placed strategically around the venue. Be aware of your thoughts and feelings. Forget all of the stress and worry at home and just DANCE. We know we will and we hope to see you there.
