Crimsen Releases ‘I Still Think Of You’ Ft. Jordan Arts + Mees Salomé & Return Of The Jaded Remixes

Making a majestic label debut, Canada-based producer Crimsen teams up with Jordan Arts for ‘I Still Think Of You’ on Purified Records. Complete with two official remixes by Mees Salomé and Return Of The Jaded, the stunning 3-track offering is out now.

Interlacing emotive vocals with delicate keys and crisp percussion, the original is a timeless track that introduces listeners to Crimsen’s captivating production style. Creating stand-out moments in sets and mixes over the last year, Dutch producer Mees Salomé takes listeners on a euphoric trip in his rendition, blending melodic and progressive sounds to enter an entrancing sonic environment. Applying an edgy touch, Canadian artist Return Of The Jaded reworks the cut into a club-ready alternative that expertly plays with light and dark elements.

Born in India, raised in Qatar and Kuwait, Crimsen now calls Toronto his home. Calling upon his diverse upbringing, his story lies at the intersection of music and colour. As a producer and an artist, Crimsen knows how to take people on a journey through his range of chill-leaning beats to energetic dance tracks. His sound showcases a blissful synergy between high-energy peaks and luscious breakdowns. Finding inspiration from artists such as Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82 and Simon Doty, he strives to make music that works both on and off the dancefloor. Performing around the world at the likes of Burning Man, CODA, Electric Island and Amsterdam Dance Event, and releasing on an array of imprints, Crimsen continues to stand out with his scintillating productions and performances.

Mees Salomé has spent the last few years taking the music world by storm with his distinctive blend of melodic house music. Hailing from the Netherlands, at a young age he discovered an insatiable passion for music, teaching himself to sing, play guitar, piano and drums. Turning 17 years old, he decided to try his hand at producing. In 2017, his debut EP ‘Equivalence’ was signed to Reinier Zonneveld’s imprint Filth On Acid, which received support from the likes of Joris Voorn, Yotto, Kölsch and many more. Following the success of the release, Mees has released on other revered imprints such as This Never Happened, Days Like Nights, Spectrum, Ton Töpferei and a full-length album on Filth On Acid, titled ‘Big Thoughts Like Elephants’. His monthly podcast – Distant – evolved into an events label, hosting artists such as Ben Böhmer and Tinlicker with audiences of over 2000 people.
