Rising French electro-pop artist French Original has made a fast name for himself with his accessible blend of future house and dance-pop. Since his celebrated remix of The Neptunes and deadmau5’s “Pomegranate” solidified him as an artist to watch, French Original has carved out a space and style of his own. Ahead of his new EP Souvenir out July 8, French Original just unveiled the project’s lead single “Stay.”
A dark, summery single with brooding pop vocals and sophisticated digital touches, “Stay” sets an exciting tone for the forthcoming EP. Made for runway soundtracks and dancefloors to boot, “Stay” is a vogue-ish triumph from the fast-rising artist. In addition to the release of “Stay” French Original will perform two shows in London and Tilberg Friday, June 10 and Monday, June 13.
