Flooded with Latin heat and flamenco guitar, SAN PACHO’s ‘Amor’ is the latest single from the rapidly rising producer, out now on Matroda’s Terminal Underground.
Managing to find a much sought-after sweet spot between the grooves of club-house and the harder percussions of tech-house, ‘Amor’ continues his current traction, following on from his 2022 debut on deadmau5’s imprint hau5trap with ‘Piece of Me’. ‘Amor’ – or ‘Love’ – cleverly uses a Latina vocal to give the single an oozing sensuality across its forward-thinking percussion, all within the space of 2 1/2 minutes.
A name to watch out for since 2019, the Croatian has already signed tracks to Tchami’s Confessions label, Aoki’s Dim Mak and UK juggernaut UKF. ‘Amor’ provides his second outing with Matroda, after their 2021 hit single ‘La Pasion’ racked up support from the likes of Garrix, Tiësto, Fedde Le Grand, Alesso, Valentino Khan, 4B and more.
“After ‘La Pasion’ ended up being a club and festival smash I wanted to make a follow-up that was similar, yet again ear and eye catching,” SAN PACHO said. “I sent the ‘Amor’ demo to Matroda and when he premiered it at EDC Las Vegas I knew it was a special one.”
