Arriving in the wake of singles “Another Day” and “Say It,” Chicago-based DJ, producer, and live instrumentalist COFRESI is thrilled to share his fourth EP ARISE. Comprised of five melodically groovy tracks, ARISE is COFRESI’s first extended release since 2022’s AGENDA EP and showcases COFRESI’s current electrifying production style. The five-track EP features four original COFRESI tracks and “Delta,” a collaboration with VIBELINE co-founder Probcause, whose tracks have been heating up dancefloors for years.
With the first two singles off the EP, including the lead single “Say It,” COFRESI immediately sets the tone of the EP, channeling powerful and deeply rooted beats along with rich melodies to create a vibrant sonic experience. The ARISE EP as a whole solidifies the sound qualities that COFRESI has grown to embrace. Of the three previously unreleased singles, “All Night” begins with a more relaxed energy that blossoms into a cascading blend of vibrant beats and uplifting energy, while “My Mind” takes the listener into COFRESI’s inner thoughts, crafting a melodic masterpiece that ventures outside the typical confines of melodic electronic music. “Delta” with Probcause embraces a more hip-hop and trap feel, harkening back to Probcause’s roots which saw him work with artists such as Snoop Dogg and Chance The Rapper.
Constantly pushing the boundaries and standards of electronic music, this EP sees COFRESI come into his own with a unique style. Coming up, COFRESI will be touring across the US with Moon Hooch as well as making appearances at festivals such as Kinda Spoopy Music Festival and Big Fam Music and Arts Festival.
