Aiming to bless music enthusiasts with a melting pot of disco, funk, soul, and hip-hop, Prince Street Bodega (PSB) is a rising outfit from the innovative mind of DOMENICO. In 2020, NYC-based DOMENICO found himself in lockdown, living very close to top-tier house duo Black Caviar. The two artists instantly hit it off and DOMENICO was made acquainted with multi-platinum vocalist Rion S via zoom.
Sharing similar artistic visions, the four talented individuals came together to form PSB. Discussing his hopes for the group, DOMENICO explains, “I think that most music fans, including myself, are desperate for positive vibrations in the midst of so much negativity in today’s zeitgeist. I think the boys from PSB helped bring that out in me as an artist and I hope this album does the same for everyone.” The prestigious singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist has been promoting optimism for a while already. DOMENICO’s non-profit, Real World Academy, aims to help imaginative up-and-comers achieve their dreams.
Also prior to PSB, DOMENICO has worked with global phenoms, such as Bingo Players, My Chemical Romance, Tiësto, and John Legend. Furthermore, he has garnered millions of fans and has received support from MTV, SiriusXM, and Spotify’s top playlists. Now, DOMENICO embarks on the next leg of his career with PSB. Building anticipation for their debut album, the team of artists has dropped their first single, “Contagious”. This disco heater radiates funky lyrics and an energetic bassline, captivating its audience. An immediate hit, “Contagious” is just a sliver of what can be expected from Prince Street Bodega as they continue to break down the walls between genres.
