The upbeat summer banger has feel-good house written all the way through its composition DNA, L’Marco’s voice dancing across Furniss’ 4 to the floor production and soaring instrumental selections. Absolutely one for the rooftop terraces and Ibiza dance floors, it’s the latest hit to come from the NY-based house and disco producer and yet again underlines his status as one of the most exciting producers currently making his way up the closely contested ranks of house music.
“Waiting for the Summer” was inspired by New York City Summer times, Rooftop parties, BBQs, and endless summer nights with your complete strangers or lifelong friends that you never want to end,” Furniss explains. “It’s about the memories you create and the lifelong friendships you forge on the dancefloor.
His debut release on label In It Together, Furniss has previously dropped singles on Quincy Boy Records and Global 305, and been picked up by esteemed music media like Dancing Astronaut, YourEDM and of course, yours truly at Raver Mag.
