Welcome to Raver Mag BadVice DJ! Where are we speaking to you from today?

Hi, thanks for having me. I’m at home in Venice, Italy at the moment, where I am from.

Congratulations on your new single ‘You’ on Sirup Music. How did this one come about and what was the recording process like?

My new single, “You” came out after I released “Feel Lonely” when I realized I liked this new
style of music and wanted to go in a new direction. I found it matched better with my sets, especially the rave mix versions.

Talk us through the different versions. Do you have a favorite?

The original versions are in the slap house style which is the new style of music that is popular now on radio stations. The rave version is stronger and more suitable for clubs and festivals, which is my favorite because it is more my style and like the other songs that I play during my sets.

How did you get into music production and DJing? And how did you pick your DJ name?

Music has always been my passion since I was a kid. I got more serious into producing about 10 years ago when I realized it was more than just a hobby for me and something I wanted to pursue seriously. I chose my name because my nickname was Alvice (instead of Alvise) which inspired the name BadVice.

How was it working with the likes of Flo Rida and Tara McDonald?

It was amazing working with such talented people, and always very exciting when you get to work with people that you look up to.

What has been your biggest moment in your career to-date?

Having the opportunity to work with Flo Rida and Chris Willis (the main voice for David Guetta’s songs) was the biggest moment in my career to date. I look forward to working with other talented artists in the future.

Your favorite festival or show you have played so far?

I played at the Spring Break Invasion Festival in Croatia as well as the Foro festival in Turin which were both great experiences.

Is there a festival or club you are dreaming of playing at?

I have always dreamt of working at Tomorrowland and Ultra music festivals in Miami, as they are the biggest!

Any Italian artists you think we should be listening to that we might not already know?

Nico Heinz is a great Italian DJ that you should check out

What else do you have coming up this summer?

This summer I am going to work on producing more tracks, and I have new releases with international collaborations coming out soon, so be sure to look out for those!
